He'll have his pick of any open spots next year.

Agreed, but Sedin's penalty on the tying goal was also brutal.

They change the rules every second week and then, big surprise, can't properly enforce them. NASCAR anyone?

In the immortal words of the wise [HTML_REMOVED] wily Tony Stewart, "Its our job (racers) to cheat,it's their job (NASCAR) to catch us! :D

So how am I not even close? I'm not really trying to defend a team that is down 3 zip…soon to be swept. I just really hate this "fire everybody and blow the team up" mentality. Especially when nobody has any idea what went on in the background.

As a fan I honestly dont care what goes on in the background. I like to see something that resembles hockey. As for the other background, Canucks are ranked 29th out of 30 teams in future prospects. Cant fully fault Gillis as that'll be an inheritance of some sort. As for AV, as has been said, he doesnt let the Canucks play with swagger or freedom it seems. He doesnt understand who's hot whether its Lou coming in and making Game 1 [HTML_REMOVED] 2 close or ruining Hodgsons chance of rookie of the year while Kesler played injured and the kid sat. And to restate what I started with, I dont care what happens in the dressing room if people are thinking he's a "cancer in the room". He put pucks in the net and was your #1 pick, play him.

The only thing I can say was done really, really wrong this year (in hindsight) was the Luongo mess. Who knows what happened? Who knows what ownership pushed for? Who knows what was available via trade. But no. Fire everybody. Blow up the team.

I think whatever Gillis did or didnt do regarding a trade this year was fine with Lou. I think it was shortsighted to sign him to that length of a contract at Luo's age.

And who exactly are you going to get rid of? Schneider remains. Kesler Remains. Sedins Remain. Burrow Remains. Edler. Bieksa. Hamhuis. So basically you have all the major parts staying or what? Where are we going to get guys better than that to replace them? Free agency? Trades?

7 players have NTC's. We or sorry, they have whats going to be considered an underproducing D line with a bloated salary.

I have a theory that no Canadian hockey team will ever be successful again because the fan base is too impatient and irrational to allow a team to be built slowly. I feel like my point is being proven.

Bro, you no watch the Sens Habs game tonight? You make it sound like hockeys dead or dying slowly. Whats your definition of successful? Stanley Cup Champs? Record sell outs? Anyways, as you can see, there's good case for one if not two positions within Orco Bay opening up soon. And as Ive said on here before, Ruff's available who can Coach and GM. I feel like I've made and proven this point ;)

After what Hodgson went through with the Canucks, no one can fault him for being bitter at the team. Misdiagnosing an injury, forcing him to work through it and thenn basically calling him a pussy when he tries to fix it independently from the Canucks organization. I have had back pain before and I couldn't imagine a year or more of it, being forced to play hockey with it and then being ridiculed for seeking treatment when the pain just wouldn't go away.

Preparing for the Canucks' training camp for the 2009–10 season, Hodgson injured his back while working out in the summer. The injury, which was misdiagnosed as a bulging disc in his lower back, caused him to miss two months of summer training. After being cleared to play by Canucks team doctors on September 11, 2009, and a back specialist in Toronto, Hodgson was again expected to secure a roster spot during training camp. After struggling in six pre-season games, he was returned to the Brampton Battalion on September 29, in the final round of cuts. Hodgson subsequently sought a third opinion regarding his back at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. In response, Canucks head coach Alain Vigneault publicly speculated whether Hodgson was simply having a hard time being cut and was trying to "roll the [blame] in another direction." Despite having been cleared earlier to play in the pre-season by two sets of doctors, the Cleveland Clinic judged him unfit to play for a month. Previously undetected nerve damage in one leg was also revealed. Due to Hodgson's misdiagnosis, which was not corrected until a year later, subsequent treatment and rehabilitation was designed for a bulging disc, which further aggravated his real injury – a muscle strain.

Being an agoraphobic adrenaline junkie would be pretty convenient, because you could get your rush from just going to the store to get some milk instead of having to jump off a mountain or out of an airplane.

That diving Wengler should have his face stuffed into the boards for real. Or maybe he should play soccer instead.

And I think we as fans should look to South American soccer fans as the new model. When refs suck they get shot. It's that simple.

But no…I'm not bitter.
