Except Santorelli just signed a 1 year with the leafs. Fuck. I liked him.

HA! Goddamn Leafs. He was worth keeping but I guess 1.5 was too much? I dunno about that move.

I think he was looking for 2 years or more and the Canucks offered him 1, never heard a confirmed $$. Odd he settled for a year in TO. It will be interesting to see if he can carry on what he brought last season. I think the sample size was simply too small to warrant giving him any sort of term. If he can bring it again, he'll be in the position for a nicer contract.

I like the Vrbata signing. I think we overpaid, but's he's proven to be a consistent scorer. He could be a great pairing for the twins, or whoever is on our 2nd line now.

I agree. For the money, could've had Cammeleri for not much more. At least that was my thoughts when I read the details.
