I'm sitting at the light at Clark and 1st this afternoon and a big dually rolls up with some native imagery on it. The driver's window rolls down, a big cloud of smoke rolls out and there's Gino.
He was before my time as a Canucks fan, so I had no idea who he was until watching Bure's ceremony last night. Seeing him in person the next day was a bit odd.

How much does it suck being in the Pacific Division? The Nucks are 10-5-1, a great start and good enough for second in the East and all that gets us is 4th place in the Pacific. They better do some damage in this next road trip. A win against the Sharks would be nice.
I was thinking much the same thing. They had a few shaky games earlier, but if you cut them some slack for adjusting to the new coach and just look at the last 10 or so, they've been playing a good game. Good enough to make a mockery of the top eastern team and put together a very good result on the eastern road trip. But here in the Pacific they're just good enough to be average!
