4-0 Edmonton.

It's time to abandon our team. Trade Luongo, fire Tort's.

Rebuild.

Run in circles, scream, shout.

Come on guys, its Luongo and he needs 4 months to get into his "rhythm".

Being an agoraphobic adrenaline junkie would be pretty convenient, because you could get your rush from just going to the store to get some milk instead of having to jump off a mountain or out of an airplane.

they also call me "balloon"

Oh God. The season is over. The Flames scored 6 goals against the Oilers in the pre-season opener on Saturday, if that's any consolation to anyone.

Tortarella wasn't even working the bench tonight.

I didn't watch the game but I heard the team looked pretty wiped out. I guess Torts is training them into the ground like he said he would, which will pay off once they can handle it better.

Any way you want to look at it pre-season is not worth worrying about.

In the past we started out great in preseason only to slump for the start of the actual season. Neither success or fault should be given much consideration.

Either way, not sure expectations should be crazy high this year. We lost a few players, gained not much, and have an aging core that has probably already peaked. We shall see though.
