Its on Rogers Sportsnet. Still the 3rd period to play. Canucks up by 2, so expect the Avs to score 2 goals within 5 seconds with 5 minutes left in the game.

Wow. Colo yanks the goalie with more than 4 minutes to play. Never seen that before.

Great first shift. Completely set the tone for a win over the JR team.

Luongo has tied Patrick Roy for lifetime NHL shutouts. Here are the career stats for all goalies of the modern era (the years since save percentages were added to goalie stats). Besides Brodeur, Luongo is the only other active goalie. Luo is no Grant Fuhr (he is much, much better) so that is obviously why the Canucks have never won a Stanley Cup.

The stats clearly how what all the haters know - Luo sucks, even though his save % (the only statistical measure of how well the net is protected) is better than anyone, other than Hashek. He should be traded immediately!

He's in line or may already be the greatest regular season goalie of all time. Just has one final mountain to summit….

Luongo's lifetime playoff save percentage is virtually the same as his lifetime regular season percentage (.916 versus .919) and pretty much the same as Roy's (4 Stanley Cups) and Brodeur's (3 Stanley Cups) (0.918 and 0.919 in the playoffs respectively). Compare with Grant Fuhr's (0.900 in playoffs - 5 Stanley Cups) and Billy Smith's (0.903 in playoffs - 4 Stanley Cups). So what is your conclusion based on? The fact that he doesn't score goals?

First goal was forgiveable. Only baseballs should do that.

What a fun game to watch. I wish all NHL games had this much intensity.

Impressive research and even more impressive stats on all those goalies. However, Bobby has a zero under the most important column and because of that, he won't fully be regarded in their company. There's more than just numbers to winning cups!

Although, I must admit I didn't realize his playoff percentage was that high.

Probably cuz he is still wet behind the ears compared to the others:P

His win% is nothing to write to Florida about though
