Daniel Craig… second best James Bond, with the Queen?
Throw in some sweet OMD and other excellent BritPop?

Job well done.

CTV coverage was atrocious. For every country that came out, the commentators would talk about some kind of strife or another. The guy was outraged that the ceremony didn't have anything about the Munich 72 hostage crisis/deaths.

I honestly don't understand the emphasis on the the opening ceremonies these days. Such an unimportant part of the games, yet everyone always judges them by it.

I just watched it and I liked it.

In many ways it really was the complete opposite of the Chinese opening. Instead of ignoring the nastiness of the industrial revolution they made it into a big piece. They also showed off their great ability to laugh at themselves and celebrate various fringe aspects of British pop-culture.

I think the athletes make the games and this is how they are ultimately judged, but the host city is judged by the opening/closing ceremonies, venues, etc.

George Lazenby. The only Bond to get a girl to the altar.

This trip to Kelowna was definately an undertaking - Liam and I had been planning this project for 24 hours. We worked really hard to pull out all the stops in this video. We had slo-mo goggle shots; time lapses; pedal flips; outrageous product shots; unloading and loading the bike; walking through the field with your hand in wheat. At the end of the day this trip was all about just getting out and riding with all my friends.

That automatically makes him the worst bond ever.

And why he only did one film.
