There is a large-scale DC electrical distribution system in Vancouver, and it is used every day!

I know you say taking off the tin foil hat, and I agree that Tesla was a genius, born before his time, but nothing says "Tin Foil hat" more than the website you link to, and www.activistpost.com which is used for some referencing.

Just saying. Credibility of that article dipped a few points.

Yep … Trolley lines are 600 VDC. There are rectifier stations to convert 3-phase 600 VAC from BC Hydro scattered around town. I've poked my head inside pretty much every one.

Cool, I need to read up on my high voltage distribution. I always thought DC distribution was junk. (Power loss wise)
