Dunno if my training will be enough to keep up with these peeps:

Make sure you have a good warm up, you want to get to the start line with a good sweat going.
I thought I could just ride around Yaletown and get a good warm up in and it was a total joke, so many people and cars. Use a trainer or ride to the race.
Oh,and race at or near the front or risk getting gapped in the turns.

I'm entered in the masters. I'm gonna get my ass handed to me several times. But it's gonna be fun. It will be interesting to see how long I can hold on( my guess is 3/4's of a lap)

And soon enough, you'll get to 'enjoy' the 1-2 funfest. You coming racing tonight?

Nope! Kelowna this weekend. The hunt for 3 stinking points continues.

Thanks duder! I road quite well at Mt Hood but didn't place. So I'm hoping it transfers over to Kelowna.

Didn't the 4's pass the 3's after 5 min headstart in the BC Cup last weekend ? They do the same on tuesdays….seem like moving to 3's is the easy way out. Of course, you get to start with the 1/2's for 12x Camosun, but how's that gonna be for the self-esteem when you see the break go wizzing by? Maybe it's just me, but 3's are a confusing group..

The 4's rarely caught the 3's at the Tuesday Nighters last year (on the days I was racing at least). I'm actually surprised the 4's managed to catch the 3's so often the first month of racing, because from my perspective there is less depth in 4 this year than last. Things go in cycles and right now I don't think we're seeing max horsepower in either 4 or 3. A lot of the strong guys from last year have already landed in 2.

I did my first race as a 3 last Thursday and I can say without a doubt it was faster than any other Thursday nighter I did this year as a 4. More attacks too.

Woooot! I got my points! 2nd in the Crit in Kelowna!

Yes the 4's are a interesting group. Alot of people that are in the fours are consistently fast, year in year out. Then there are the hot rods that blow through at the beginning of every year. It makes for a really fast group at the beginning of each season.

Now you can add your opinion on the speed of the 3's vs. the 4's. :D
