So I have enormously wide (4E) feet. What brands or shoes for 3-bolt cleats fit wide?

I also have a wide foot (not sure of how they compare to 4E) and have been using a pair of Giro Apeckx for a bit now. I really like them and they seem to fit better than my old road shoes.

This intrigues me…

I have a pair of Bontrager Race shoes and they are wide in the front. Great for winter as you can wear a couple pairs of socks.

Shimano makes a custom fit shoe that is "ideal for riders with high volume feet".

I have shimano "wide" cleats and they are almost too wide for my wide feet. Maybe they'd fit your flippers?

By 3-bolt you mean road cleats? I also have 4E feet and I've pretty good success with Northwave for my road shoes and Shimano for my mtb shoes (two-bolt cleat).

oddly enough I find the fit of 661 shoes good. I have a set of the filter skate-style shoes and the width is nice. Plus, I'm only running a half-size too big (I'm a 10.5 when measured.) Of course they don't make a road shoe.

thanks for the input folks, gives me some places to look.

MEC sells Keen shoes are they are wide,

is going big on a bike the only way to get you stoked on the sport? what happened to riding with your bros, travelling, and riding unique places, to get people stoked on riding?

fines are useless. there needs to be more punches to the throat.
