Hey - I've got a couple of old road bikes (late 80s?) in my basement. I think there's a bit of a market for these things, but I haven't really looked very hard. Anyone got any thoughts as to CL pricing?

Based on Craigslist postings put vintage in the title and you can command $250 plus.

Put Italian and make it $400

Oh I see you have vintage Campy. $600

Both of these bikes could probably worth a decent amount of money, depending on the condition of parts and how the bike is presented in adds.

Like I would say as is atleast 400 dollars but if you clean them up and make sure they're working well you could get more pretty easily

they clean up really well, columbus SL on the cramerotti, what's the tubing sticker on the marinoni?mention it on the listing.
Marinoni is the better known brand, clean them up, take the pedals off, change the bar tape, black cotton is cheap and looks right.

The Marinoni is definately worth more, as the Cramerotti is more of a house brand (still Italian made). Anybody remember Giseppe Cramerotti ? Just a bit of a shyster that guy was :bandit:

Sorta depends on how much you want to put into them and even then they aren't going to be worth a great deal .

Marinoni : ask 500 as is , 750 with complete re-fit ( assuming complete campy group set ).

Cramerotti : ask 250 as is , 350 cleaned up .

Frame sizes at opposite ends of the scale are going to limit your market .

Umm, are those Nuevo Records cranks on the big one?

Those are worth something to someone. And those rims. Classic!

As an aside, anyone got a 26.2 Campi post that ain't been chopped short?
