Some will recall what I'm talking about. The figure 8 velodrome aka The Human Powered Rollercoaster from back in 98. Wondering if anyone has scanned pics from it.

There's a few ex-Toronto OG messengers still working in Vancouver with tales of the original Alley-Cats Scramble. Redbull came through last year with their minidrome setup, complete with flown-in sandbagger.

Bonus trivia: while it all dates back to the original Alley-Cats Scramble, Vancouver plays host to the world's oldest annual alleycat, the St. Valentine's Day Massacre, which is now, at 26 years strong, older than most of the racers themselves.

Double-bonus trivia: NSMB's own Morgman won it in 2011!

As I recall Robin Coop one year set up a trails demo area one year using lots of wood screws and a semi load of pallets on loan from Norco.

I can see Fat Boy Patino's teeth grinding with that glare of his. While he rested his belly on the stem.
