Who to blame?

Freedom of contract. We sell them guns that kill them; they sell us drugs that kill us.

I liked this vid. Canvandouche was all over Sagan. The whole group shifted riders right and Little Marc went down before the elbow was thrown.
Stupid for the TDF to kick him out, just lost another shitload of viewers.
There is also a vid of Lance talking about it.

Definitely surprised that they kicked Sagan out.  Has a reigning world champ ever been kicked out of a grand tour before?

Nope.  Michael Woods rode the Giro this year, but it'll probably be a year or two before he gets to the Tour with Cannondale.

Fun stage to watch yesterday.  Froome worked hard to recover from that flat.

It was cool to see De Gendt  and others helping Martin pull back some time.

Landa should go for the win. He has been pulling Froome'ss ass across France for the last two weeks.
A minute and a bit back from Froome, a mutiny and he goes for the win. That would be epic

Froome was in a similar situation behind Wiggins in 2012.  Big difference is that Froome knew he was the heir apparent, so toed the Sky line, but Landa is expected to leave Sky after this season.  Don't know that it would be great for his reputation to mutiny though. It would indeed be epic to watch.

Yes good point.
Imagine 2nd to last stage Landa takes 2mins out of Froome and wins the TDF.
How many fans would that get back on board after all the bullshit in years past?... and this year

Greg Lemond quote:

"If I were Landa I would not wait, I would go for the overall victory. There are no gifts in cycling. Have a mano a mano, Froome against Landa," said LeMond.

Landa's contract expires at the end of the year and he looks set to join Spanish team Movistar.

"If Landa is leaving there are no gifts, they won't appreciate his sacrifice. But he'll live with that loss for the rest of his life," LeMond said.

Lemond would know. He gets a lot of anger from people but he's pretty smart when it comes to racing. I think his haters still bear a grudge for him calling out Lancy pants as being a doper of epic proportions as well as a complete sac of shit as a human.

He hasn't really been dragging Froomes ass across France any more than the rest of the Sky-train domestiques have been dragging his (Landa's) ass, though has he?

The lead out man is always relatively fresh, so he looks strong but he wouldn't succeed unless he had full support of the rest of the team.

It would be nice to see him try though!

Complicated situation for sure. Landa was pulling him again today, usually the Domestiques aren't so close to the team leader in time due to taking turns per stage being the workhorse. Fromme was good today, dunno if anyone will beat him.  Tomorrow is a huge climbing day again, see what happens, been a great race.

I would love to see Landa, Uran,  or Bardet snatch it. Always pull for the underdog.

Tomorrow should be a good one.

Looks like Froome is going to win it now.
For a minute there looked like Landa was going to take yellow.
Bardet and Uran just don't have the team support.
Always next year.
