Pics and it did happen.

Shit always happens, and someone is there taking the photos.

Guess which one I am!

The guy aiming for a indecent exposure ticket in the Borat outfit?

I'd be getting one of these if I didn't have the option of getting a Naked X (http://timetogetnaked.com/gallery/introducing-the-naked-x/2013/10/28)

What tires are you guys running? Can´t decide on where to put the comprimise, on tarmac or on the gravel roads. Want to run tubeless but the tire I had in mind, conti Cyclocross Speed seems pretty hard to get sealed.

I am running 40mm Clement X'plor MSOs (also available in 32mm) tubeless on Stans Crest rims on the gravel touring/adventure bike, and will be getting a set of the Clement X'plor USH in a 35mm for the gravel/pavement bike. Durable tires that roll well and don't break the bank.

Finally pulled the trigger on a Salsa Vaya after deliberating over the Straggler, the Macho Man, or a racing bike (I want a racer and a steel 'all rounder' just couldn't decide what to get first).

Was put off the Straggler (and the Vaya) by the published weights, and was set on the All City Macho Man, but then I tried the Straggler and realised that I really didn't care about the weight (I've not ridden much in the last year so maybe didn't notice it). The Vaya seemed to ride slightly lighter though which Ed at Mighty Riders put down to the tyres (the Straggler had the 41mm Knards on it).

I eventually decided on colour mostly, and the fact I've kind of always wanted a Salsa. Ed at Mighty was supper helpful and is doing a 'custom downgrading' to bring the Salsa down to the same price as the Surly, although he looked pissed when I asked him to swap the brakes to UK style, haha! Can't wait to get it dirty next weekend.

any recommendations for a 700x35 tire with very good puncture resistance? I have a Traitor Ruben which is primarily used for hauling my kids around in the chariot. Currently running small block 8's on Focus Concept wheels, and i get a lot of rear flats on gravel. It's usually ridden 75% pavement, 25% gravel/dirt. I am considering "puncture resistant" tubes (which I use on the chariot tires and are awesome), but I need a new rear tire anyways.

I used the Clement USH with success last year for that type of riding. Lots of tread in the center, and little nubs for the off paved riding. Lots of shops have wire bead take off of them too, which make them nice and cheap too. Mighty had a ton in there last time I was in.
