Now that the spring classics (the best races all year) are starting, does anyone happen to have a link or schedule of the upcoming cycling coverage on Rogers? I have tried a bunch of times to find a schedule on their website but can't find one for the life of me.

I know someone posted a schedule a few years ago, but can't track it down.

And oh yeah - STYBAR!!!!

Supposed to be showing the Adriatico but instead it's cricket highlights.

Sportsnet's cycling coverage is a gong show. Cricket instead of cycling. Random edits to ensure the race fits into their allotted two-hour time slot. Commercials inserted at inopportune moments. Inconsistent scheduling. Endless repeats of the same Cialis and K-Y Lube commercials (what are they trying to say about cyclists with these?) And seriously, who shows delayed coverage of live sporting events anymore?
We've also been short-changed a few races already this year; we didn't get to see any of the Middle Eastern races (Oman is usually pretty interesting, the others not so much) as they landed on some network called BeIN which doesn't seem to get carried by anyone; and K-B-K also went AWOL.
I suppose we should feel lucky we get to see any of these races at all, considering the television wasteland that was pro cycling prior to Sportsnet stepping up. But that seems to be exactly Sportsnet's attitude toward cycling. There doesn't seem to be any good reason why they couldn't show the racing live as the only programming it would displace are compound repeats of their highlight shows. At least throw us a bone and give us the big classics like Milan-San Remo, Tour of Flanders, Paris-Roubaix live. It's killing me every week to avoid all the cycling websites and my cycling twitter feeds until their delayed broadcasts.

Annoying, yes. But I can't complain to much about actually having some coverage, and it's in HD.

Quintana was awesome on the final climb.

To answer your original question vanonymous; go to Sportsnet's web page and click on the Broadcast Schedule button in the top right corner and just start scrolling ahead. All the cycling shows up on SN1. But take anything you read there with a grain of salt; you're just as likely to end up with cricket highlights, or an extended tennis match or bobsledding. And make sure your PVR has recording space as most of the delayed coverage will be on very late at night or in the middle of the weekday.
According to my Shaw guide, Milan-San Remo won't show up until next Monday.

If you do that on Shaw, it records everything. Cyclocross, DH, cross country, track, road, etc.

Nowhere in my post did I remotely suggest it was a problem. ;)

I just wait a day and somebody will upload a good chunk of the latter half of the races on YouTube.

Classics will be nuts this year. So many super talented one day racers.

Msr tomorrow. I'm going for the easy prediction. Negronis for me tonight, kristoff for the win tomorrow.

Second choice would be cav if he makes it up the poggio with the leaders.

Watched the Tour of Flanders on the weekend and Scheldeprijs today. Good coverage, and in HD. Big crash on today's race.

The tour of Flanders my PVR recorded was some condensed 30 minute version…and wasn't even in order. It went from 60 km to go to 40 and then Back up to 50
