Although I don`t currently own a road bike, I would like to get one in the near future. If we had a section for roadies on this "bike friendly" site, I could ask and hopefully get answers to any questions I would have .

So I think its a great idea……………kinda been wondering why this hasnt been brought up before.

huge rear blinking light, is that the Cateye with ten LEDs?

I bought one of these for riding in traffic at night, its blink mode is really powerful:

nice. im glad to see this finally come about.

i dont have any pics of it but im currently riding what i think is an 1980 something Tomasso. full shimano 105 with the downtube shifters and 14 gears total. i love it.

Being an agoraphobic adrenaline junkie would be pretty convenient, because you could get your rush from just going to the store to get some milk instead of having to jump off a mountain or out of an airplane.

ksyrium elites? nice wheelset. I saw a guy on the Seabus a few weeks ago with a Fuji CX bike, ksyrium elites, cantilever brakes and what looked like 700x32 cyclocross tires.

Road forum is a good idea. There are some sick road bikes in this town. Co-worker from my last job had a custom Easton Scandium/Carbon beauty done up. I think the just the wheels off my Scream weighed more than his entire bike.

Plus I'm up for seeing some road rash. Or chix in spandex. Or a combo of the two.

I just bought a road/touring bike this Summer, well actually 2 as my wife got one too. Did the Oregon Coast - it was awesome. I also have Cramerrotti circa 1982 with all the original parts (Campi) including the stem, which I found out last year, was recalled in 1983 :)

You see them alot at the cross races. They're the next thing to go though. I have a new set of wheels coming.
