I just got a sweet deal on a 10 Speed Record crank and now need to get it installed. Can anyone recommend a shop with a great mechanic that knows Campy stuff?

Yes installing cranks should only be attempted by expert mechanics with at least ten years of experience..

but yeah mighty riders, bicicletta or campione can get the job done.

a campy ultra torque bottom bracket cup set does not install in a way that is so different from shimano, fsa, etc… see photos:

install cups as you would for shimano hollowtech II. grease bearings mounted on crankarms appropriately. shove crankarms through bike. torque large center bolt on crankarms to specified torque value to jam the teeth of the crankarms' center shaft together. done.

this is for mirage but all UT work in generally the same way. the FC-RE012 seats on the center spindle of the crankarms.

John at Dizzy is the only person I'd let work on my bikes. Bike Gallery has excellent staff too though.

Seriously, there are a couple crank designs lke that. Example specialized carbon cranks that come on s-works bikes. Not so complicated.
