Let's Talk Cyclocross
So the internet is reminding that I like cyclocross... which should I use to relaunch my cat 4 racing career?
A 2009 banshee paradox
or
A 2016 Charge Grater 1 (1x8 aluminum hybrid with v brakes)
I suspect there is some money for handlebars and tires but that is it...

Reason: picture links - (screw that!)
Im posting because Im determined to get out a try one race this year (or maybe just watch). Ive said this every year for the last 10. Anyone else in the same boat?
Anyone going out to the DonkyCross race this weekend (www.donkeycrosscx.com)? Im going to go - just to watch - too much of a wuss to give it a try yet.

Looking to sell my cross bike and am wondering if there are any groups/boards/forums that someone can recommend to post to? I picked up a Norco Threshold for something to ride while I was recovering from an injury and couldn't MTB, but haven't touched it since I was able to get back on the trails.

Any more details? Photos? Might be interested.
Here's the ad: https://www.pinkbike.com/buysell/2446182/. I was thinking about hanging on to it and giving CX a try at that Halloween race, but it's been 2.5 months since I've ridden it so it's time to move on.
I sold my CX bike on PB, so I think you’re in the right place. I’d try CL also. Smaller market for those bikes forsure, especially the pricy ones. You might need to price it to sell.
Does anyone race the Vancouver CX series? Looking to mix it up and try a cross race this year and have no idea what category to enter. I would describe my mountain biking skillset as high on tech skills and low on fitness, and since cross doesn't seem that technical, I'm pretty much just bringing poor fitness to the table. Would appreciate any insight.
I did one at Vanier park a few years back. They only let me race in the Novice Cat because you have to earn points, but that may have changed.
Was a ton of fun, make sure you have shoes that have tread, there is lots off off the bike running, lots of mud.
