So, I wonder if that person holding the sign ended up getting thier ass beat?

We don't know what our limits are, so to start something with the idea of being limited actually ends up limiting us.

I am not one to watch this, but the few times I have over the past decade my only take-away was that a fan was going to cause a fucking pile-up.

The first Day 1 crash is getting all the attention, but the second was even more spectacular. One of the UAE guys was very lucky to not have his head smash fully into a telephone pole, which probably would have killed him.

Will Cavendish tie, or beat, Merckx's record?  Great storyline for the Tour's PR dept.  It has been nice to see a less cocky than his hey-day Cavendish truly appreciating his wins, and the team supporting him.
