Ghost Lector Race - opinions

Was looking at some of the road bikes that MEC carries. They carried the Ghost line of road bikes that seem to be quite well spec'ed for the price. Anyone have one of these or want to share their opinions on these bikes? There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of reviews out there for the Ghost Lector road bikes. The one that has my interest is the Lector Race Pro model.

It's a bike. It will work fine. I'd get it.

I think it'd be a bit harsh on most of the trails on the north shore…

I've though the same thing. Watching a German racer ride a Ghost into 2nd place at the UBC Grand Prix this summer piqued my interest more. Maybe ask to take one for a test ride?

was in MEC the other day and walked by that bike….. nothing wrong with a Ui2 carbon road bike for that price…

Decided to take a chance on one. Figure I cant go wrong with Mec's no quibble return policy. If it turns out that I don't like it, it's nice to know I can return it. So far it's seems like a nice ride and the Ui2 shifting is so slick. Now just need to get it out for a few long rides.
