just noticed this on cycling bc website.
Men 4/5, #f95, Jonathan Coleman, TNA, Warning for riding dangerously by wearing earphones during the race.
Men 4/5, #443, Rob Feenie ( the iron chef), TNA, Warning for riding dangerously by wearing earphones during the race.
Women 1/3, #804, Jennifer Gerth, Westwood Cycle, $20 Fine for providing assistance to a team mate when one lap behind (passing a water bottle).
Women 1/3, #708, Krystine Brynjolfson, Westwood Cycle, $20 Fine for receiving assistance (water bottle) from a team mate who was one lap behind.
i can understand the whole racing with headphones thing, but since when was it not allowed to pass bottles to dropped teammates? slappin a fine is a bit of a low move. the girl was dropped, whats she gonna do, drink the bottle and then regain enough energy to time tiral for 10 km and ctach back on?
thats 40 bucks worth of fines over a stinkin water bottle.
