Or bar-end shifters for a cleaner look and less $ (aren't Take-Offs expensive?).

Yeah, but was still cheaper then replacing the front STI shifter in 2005 when it failed.

I have not read thru all this so I don't know if you moved more to the cross race bike or commuter side.

Took a spin down there to Traitor Cycles.

Gonna get a 'Ruben'.

It's even nicer in person.

Traitor cycles look sick and are fairly cheap. the gf was looking for a cross/commuter and I think thats the ticket.

I was creeping on a ruben at fort langley cycles, and I must say the traitor bikes have an awesome aesthetic.
