sure is a lot of dirt in there for a "roadbike" tag line. looks interesting. then again the only cycling mag I tend to read these days is paved. and I hardly ever road ride.

Just a speculative fiction. No cause for alarm.

It's more of a bikepacking mag. As far as know it's the only one like that. Bikepacking is the new cool thing in the mountain bike world! No it's not fatbikes….

bike packing is not new, in fact its almost as old as the bike itself. I get a chuckle of the trend overloaded bikes slogging around the "back country", mostly in places where you can ride from any one point to any other point in around 8 hours. my motto, after a few years slogging around with an over loaded bike in some remote zones is this: the less you carry, the fast you go, the less you need.

this put a warm smile on my face this summer.

if your going to go "bikepacking" at least realize its childs play.

self supported rides are fun in all forms.

Just a speculative fiction. No cause for alarm.

agreed. and that sounds like a rad trip. I'm in need of an over seas, two wheeled, adventure. been too long.

What a cool mag. Did a self-guided 1000 km bicycle touring trip once (with a buddy) - a mix of motels and campgrounds through Eastern Ontario/Upstate NY/Vermont. You see and experience so much more. Definitely the experience of a lifetime.
