I saw this at pedalmag.com:

April 5, 2006 - There's a new wheelset for Campagnolo in 2007, the Khamsin. This is an entry-level model for both the OEM market, and aftermarket. Campagnolo has been growing considerably in recent years in the OEM market which now accounts for 40% of its revenue.

Khamsin wheels have 24mm anodized aluminium machined rims with a wear indicator on the brake surface. The 2mm spokes are distributed in accordance with Campy's special G3 geometry, with 24 (8x3) in the front and 27 (9x3) in the rear. The hubs, also composed of anodized aluminium and ride on high-quality sealed bearings. The freewheel body/pawl carrier is a single body, which is found throughout the entire Campagnolo range, and is compatible with Campy and HG drivetrains.

Weight per pair is 1,915g. Retail price is approximately 198 CAD.

It's certainly not light, but it's cheap for a training wheel… I would guess this will be used for Veloce level builds.

not bad.

Being an agoraphobic adrenaline junkie would be pretty convenient, because you could get your rush from just going to the store to get some milk instead of having to jump off a mountain or out of an airplane.

Hell has frozen over, campy will be releasing this budget wheelset in a shimano compatible version. Until now only "Fulcrum" branded wheelsets have been shimano compatible. Fulcrum is a brand wholly owned by Campagnolo…
