I'm trying to gauge interest for a permanent indoor mini velodrom in the East Vancouver area. The track would be similar to the one Red Bull has brought to the city a few times except it would be slightly larger to allow for more sprinting on the straight sections. If your interested check out the facebook page and let me know what you think! www.facebook.com/Vancouverminivelodrome

Takes about 15-20 minutes to bike to a velodrome from east van, even less depending on how eastcore you are.

Considering there's already the Burnaby velodrome (and that some existing tracks [see NSC in Blaine, MN] are closing due to lack of funding), would be great to see this enthusiasm put to good use to support the existing track (financially, additional events, more volunteers, promotion, etc.).
