I've been running a nice comfy set of 700x28c Specialized All-Condition Armadillos ( http://www.specialized.com/bc/SBCEqProduct.jsp?spid=15137 )on my commuter/alleycatter/daily driver, but now that the seasons have changed, I don't have enough fork crown and brake bridge clearance to run fenders with them, and their wet-weather performance leaves much to be desired. My urban love affair with Kenda K-Rads lead me to the Rivendell Ruffy Tuffy (http://www.rivbike.com/webalog/tires_tubes/10043.html) , but there's no way they're going to fit, either.
Weight and dry-weather performance doesn't concern me in the slightest. I need a ridiculously reliable and flat-resistant rain tire that I can tuck under my Freddy Fenders. 23-25c tops.
