Really liking the new Assos bibs this year. Even the "low end" ones are awesome compared to the old models.

It's just that I'm at the point where I'm grossed out by the feeling of my belly fat rolling over the waist band on my lycra shorts when I mount the bike and once had bibs long ago so………..

Yah these sound like what you call a relaxed fit as compared to "athletic" which is code for "fits like condom".

Maybe nobody bought them cuz the 235$ shorts are on sale in all sizes

I went for the Castelli endurance X2 bib shorts which I really like

At 1st I had wondered why the front of the short was so low and thot it might be a detriment until I had to take a piss and realized I want clearance to go over the top
