Kelly and I were watching again last night, and how come that hasn't been mentioned yet? They aren't supposed to feed on climbs so they broke that rule and there could have been sugar cubes in that bag for I care, but he shouldn't have been able to feed as none of the other guys did.
Makes me dislike Sky even more….
I thought there was some comment about "they're not allowed to do that…but they'll only get a slight penalty and it won't be time related".

Svein Tuft will be starting first tomorrow on the hilly (two 6% grade 6 km climbs) 32 km TT course. Hopefully he has been saving an extra something (he's last in the GC right now). Go Svein! Rip 'er up!

Not a great result for Tuft, but Hesjedal had a pretty good ride, only 1 sec behind Martin and 5 in front of Chavanel. It's a neat coincidence that Chavanel placed just behind Canadians in both TTs.
I think it's lame that they can switch bikes during a TT without having a mechanical failure.

i kinda agree paul , but this way there's no " hmmmm , this bike doesn't seem to be running right , i better get another one " loophole to possibly abuse .
the guys take a time loss by switching , and the guys get to ride the absolute best equipment for the job . at this level of racing i want to see the best riding the best .

Did you hear about the new rule in hockey next year? If you're on a breakaway you're allowed to swap sticks halfway towards the net. You can use your "speed" stick to make up time and then switch to your "control" stick once you get in close.
Football is thinking of a switch too for receivers. They're developing special "catching" and "running" shoes.
