Lets go ride!
This is an all abilities ride in a park with small elevation gains, drops and ladders. Ideally suited for a lighter bike with suspension. If you are in training mode and want to give yourself a good workout it can be done on a big bike.
Place: South Surrey Bike Park, near the tennis courts at Softball City in South Surrey
When 12:30pm Sunday Feb 1st

'Tis a fun place, and my usual haunt. Pound out a lap or two on the junkyard dog xc course and you'll be breathing heavy.

How did the ride go? Did it snow out there yesterday?

you can always make more money but you can never make more time.

I think it's called work for a reason. Or else they probably would have called it fun-time at the fun factory.

Myself and two others girls made it out. We had a few flurries but nothing major. We were chomping at the bit to ride and had a blast! If all goes well I'll plan another for next week, hopefuly we won't get any snow!

K mentioned the woodwork was a tad slippy!

Sorry I did not make it, I woke up with the best of intentions, looked out the window, saw another 4 inches of fresh snow and went back to bed.

Great to hear you had fun. Could not entice rob out?

Please let me demonstrate the ride around; really it's no trouble.

SSBP woodwork is heinous in the wet. some sections have cedar rungs, but the actual logs are often hardwood. :S

Nope, I finally did in my rear rotor dropping of some skinny. So all I have atm is the trials bike. The Echo isn't too much fun on the slimmy green woodwork or the snow.

Give me a call. I think I have a couple of rotors that you can have, since I dont' use 8" any more.

… and I thought this was a women's only ride!

I didn't go since leaving the hubby at home whilst out riding wouldn't help keep the marriage happy and healthy.
