not that it'd help you at all but this just inspired me to go measure my intense ss. 28" for the large frame with a 7" fork.

5'0", 27" inseam. 2009 Small SX Trail. The ONLY bike I could standover.

Its easy to say that standover doesn't matter when you can! But when you're on a trail, trying to get back on your bike and attempt something new, if you can't standover your bike, it sucks-speaking from experience.

I totally missed this thread before. I am 5'2 with maybe a 27" inseam and my WildCard could be a tiny bit lower, but as I'm developing more skill I'm feeling better about that haha! Definitely easy for someone to say that standover doesn't matter when it's not even something they don't have to think about! Especially for a newer rider, it's nice to know you can get your feet (or at least a foot) down comfortably to save yourself if you need it! There are VERY FEW bikes in existence that I can do this on.

Check out Transition's V1 Covert, XS is 28.5" and the S is 27.6". My son is well under 5" and we built this bike for him. He has no problems with it. There are some good deals to be had on these V1 Coverts. Build them light or build them a little heavier, wicked bike.
