didn't read it all but get the gist. 'Colorado freak' ha, sounds like much of BC. before i moved to the coast about 12 yrs ago a buddy who made the move first said wait till you get here- we're all punters, everyone is a hard man in BC.

met a woman in the high ranks of BC Health care system. she said there are 2 extremes that are killing the system financially. one is the obese, the other is the ultra fit. she said when running became a big thing 20 yrs ago a number of people took it a bit too far. as in that article. so by age 60 there are a number of BC'ers who have had BOTH hips AND knees replaced. BY 60!!!! due to exercise!

Yeah I have friends with 2 new hips at 60, I think there are only so many cycles in a body or body part,

I have never been in a race of more than 10k, never run for [HTML_REMOVED] 1.5 hrs, don't really run much anymore, ski touring or biking is way easier on the body

I consider myself kinda lazy …maybe thats a smart thing?
