eating smaller meals more often did wonders for me , did not really cut back just stopped eating huge meals 3 times a day and went to 6 to 7 smaller meals spread out thru the day .
calories are calories so I have a hard time believing you were consuming the exact same amount of calories, you probably just missed some calories due to the smaller meals
