Hi has any you had this surgery? Im curious as to your long term observations on how it affected you.
I just had the surgery last wednesday. My surgery went well but they badly crushed my uvula with the breathing tube. It had the blood flow cut of by the tube and so it died and it has been rotting off since the surgery giving me the worst sore throat I have ever encountered. I actually swallowed a chunk that fell off yesterday yuck..
Whats your experience?

Aaaand so much for my lunch break.

In all seriousness though, that sounds rough. All the best with a speedy recovery!

Ride, don't slide.

I declined the procedure…I've heard mixed reviews. Healing vibes man…hope you're chewing mints while that thing rots off!

That's great. My flow comes and goes on one side so I think it's more of an inflammation thing. I initially went in to clinic for reoccurring vertigo. Xray showed mass or something in around left sinus so they sent me to specialist. I waited 6 months thinking I was sent to ear nose throat….they sent me to a guy that just pumps out deviated septum jobs. So pissed off!
Nothing showed on cat scan Specialist wanted to do the procedure. I don't have the patients at this point to pursue my vertigo which has been ok lately.

2nd rant…ask doctor for stomach scope 6 months ago. I book a day off since working on Bowen, I starve myself ect…oh this is just a consultation visit sir….grrrrr.
This system sucks!

Anyways glad yours is working out.

Today I dropped of my van at kaltire to get some work done on it and rode home 3K mostly flat ride.
Within the first 2 mins , pounding headache starting at my throat and radiating into my ears. Was freaking awful. Swelling my throat made it hard to breath, just truly sucked. So disheartened right now.
Slept for a hour afterwards and had to take T3 again just to function.
I'm glad I got the surgery my wife says my snoring is way down but intubation damage I got is just beyond what I expected.

Mine was also left side blocked mostly inflammation caused by deviated septum , when air is forced past it causes swelling and so forth.
My wife had a severe vertigo incident caused by calcium deposits in her ear coming loose and sent her to the e/r. There is a wierd yoga type head exercise that helps dislodge them and give relief. hers never happened again after doing the exercise a bunch of times.
