Yeah, my wife fell down the juicing rabbit-hole. It's got it's place.

My choices, in order are still:
1.) eat it straight up
2.) smoothie it
3.) juice it.
I’m not going to sit down and eat an entire bunch of parsley, or three big beets, but you can juice that no problem. Find combinations that don’t suck.

My comment above, I realize, was based on my understanding that bananas have more sugar than many other fruits - so, relative to other fruits it is true. But, their glycemic load is still much lower than lots of other foods.

So, screw it, four bananas a day it is!

Juicing is hard and kale is gross.

If you're going to juice, get a Vitamix or equivalent mixer. You'll be drinking everything, including the fibre, which normal juicers typically waste.

I have a Blendtec which grinds up some of the stuff my old blender couldn't (like ginger, kale, chard, grapes, celery, raw beets, etc). My morning smoothie is typically 50/50 fruit:veg and it comes out incredibly well.

Also rocking the blendtec. It really will blend the shit out of anything.

How do you find beets in your juices? I love beets on their own but I find in juice that they make everything taste like dirt. Yes I do wash them first :P
