Pro or Con…I've been turned off but then back on…
Eggs
When I have them, it's usually to the tune of 6 - 8. With a three-quarter pack of bacon.
They work for me.
2 a day and blood cholesterol is fine.
I found that an egg with plain oatmeal while warming up for longer bike races, but still an hour before start time really helped stop the bonk. My body likes the hard boiled egg.
2 egg omelette w/ peppers, onion, mushroom, cheese, sometimes some fried bacon or salami in a wrap
Why slag free swag?
ummm, as your doctor i recommend against riding with a scaphoid fracture.
I have a fried egg sammy every am, its enough fuel to take me thru to lunch and I get tested once a year for cholesteral
I love eggs. And Bacon. There are lots of studies available to read that debunk the links between eating cholesterol and heart disease.
Ride, don't slide.
I like eggs and they are highly nutritious. Apparently there is little evidence that eggs (which are cholesterol rich) give you high blood cholesterol. It may be true for some people, but for most, it seems that dietary cholesterol intake has very little to do with elevated blood cholesterol which can lead to heart disease. Most people's bodies excrete excess cholesterol to the liver/gall bladder (gallstones are almost pure cholesterol). Its more to do with your gentics/body chemistry. Unless my doctor advises otherwise, I'm gonna keep eating them (maybe about 4 a week). I think the key rule - all things in moderation - applies here once again. Here's a link. But then again, what do they know, they're just Harvard Medical School.
Pro, especially because I have two hens in my back yard!

I have to ask the question how many eggs do you really need to eat and this speaks to portion control which IMO is as big of a probelem as what people eat
eggs are the perfect fuel

If you have fitness/physique goals, you need to eat as many to achieve those goals.
If you have none of the goals, you need to eat as many as you want.
I eat eggs when my body craves protein (for muscle and tissue repair/maintenance). Which is usually after longer duration, relatively high-intensity exercise. Otherwise, meh.

this ^^ must be why america is so fat
Anyway try eating less, you will be suprised how much less food you can eat than what you assume you need which must mean what you think you have to eat is really just what you want to eat
so try being a little hungry … find where that is

Yes. The lack of general health goals is an epidemic across all of North America.
