bench press vs squat rack/bench

Why would an inch difference either way make a difference when doing bench press?

if someone is using the safety bars in a rack that has 2" spacing one setting could be too low and the next one up too high so having blocks to adjust the height of the bench will give the lifter a proper range of motion without worry of getting pinned by the bar.

We don't know what our limits are, so to start something with the idea of being limited actually ends up limiting us.

depends on the amount of weight one is benching , when i was doing heavy weights i would lower the bench height slightly .same deal with squats you get those last few reps at the end of a set and that lower height can make a world of difference IMO .

I'm pretty sure the j-hook holes go all the way to the bottom of the power-rack, which means it can serve as a bench for pressing too.

Or you could get this and this and let me come work out at your place.

freaking PRO-CROSSFITTER set-up right there
