Move those links upwards and you´ve got yorself a Marin Quake maybe. That setup looks alot better though.

Looks like tight tollerances before the bottom bracket is hit by the swing arm? Hyperextend that shock and BOOM. But its tricky to visualise how all those links will work together.

Looks like that linkage is in prime position to get filled up with dirt and debris.  Cant imagine what would happen on a mucky day.  Not only would the bearings take a beating, but I think the linkage itself might become problematic?

Looks a lot like where the linkage is on my Banshee....been 4 years have not had to change the bearings once.
