Does anyone know if you can run a 10 speed Shimano rear on one of these 11 speed cassettes (with 11 speed shifter and chain) I'm guessing the pull range is different but I can't seem to find a google answer. Would prefer to stick with a short cage Zee or Saint.

It's worth a shot. I checked out Lars Sternberg's personal Transition Covert at their demo day last year, and it was set up with XTR 11 speed shifter and cassette and a 10 speed XTR derailleur.

XT 11 speed is up on CRC and the dream of a near $100 11-spd cassette appears to be a reality.

It's even less when you subtract the 19% VAT

Question: Will an old-style shimano slx/xt threaded BB fit with the new XT crankset??

Can't seem to figure it out with how they look.
