wow, there is a lot of speculation going on in this thread.

Isn't it all about the e-spec?

run carbon on my am bike for a while now, and im no little guy.
mounted on a heckler, the bar holds up well, to all the abuse and use it gets.
i have run carbon on all but my dh bike, and have no reason to ever doubt it's strength.

Fear me. I have a Cabin in montana.

Plenty?
I've been riding/freeriding/downhilling/curb hopping/riding to the store to get milk/milking the goat to fill my tubeless tires instead of stan's/ for like 20 years and I've never seen or heard of a set of aluminum bars breaking.
To each their own-enjoy.
Are you riding carbon fiber bars?

How many bikes do you see a day?

I only ask because given the list of things you have been doing on your bike I take it you dont work at a bicycle shop do you?

Some of us on the boards have seen more bikes in a day than you will see in a week.

thinkin bout bikes
