Some context. I’ve been running a reverb B2 in 170mm guise with the trigger remote for about a year on my Specializes Enduro (34.9mm version). In that time I’ve bled the remote almost monthly and had it done at the bike shop twice. For some reason, I just couldn’t get a long lasting bleed as I’d had using the plunger remote on previous B series reverbs.
Fed up, I decided to try the cable conversion offered by wolf tooth through their ReMote Sustain conversion kit.
Combined with their dropper post remote. Which I’ve been enjoying on my other bike, mated to the shimano/pro dropper.
Following the instructions & video posted on the Wolf Tooth website, the entire process took about 30 minutes.
Garage test says that it works.
No more fiddling and I can keep running an otherwise reliably performing post. Only limitation is that return speed will now be modulated by my thumb and not the hydraulic system.
