has anyone ever tried the Michelin WildRock R ? . . . Looks right, weight is decent and if its anything like the old michelin back in the days it should be great :

I would assume the 2.25 should be pretty close to a minion 2.35 but lighter.

i made the mistake of buying 2, under the premise of being happy with every other Michelin tire..

They sealed tubeless first time out of the box with a hand pump on my Stan's rims too.

I had a go on the HRII EXO 3C and thought is was great. The ST would be even better.

I am on some EXO ST DHF right now on the AM bike and they are very nice also, but sloooowwww.

I see the Continental Trail King 2.2 UST comes with the Black Chili compound now. I sure like my non-UST version of that tire except for it's not too easy to run it tubeless. I'm stoked to try the UST one now that it's got the chili!

agreed, trail king 2.2 is great except for incredibly flexible and porous sidewalls.
too bad the 2.4 is such a weird shape, round and tall.

Wouldn't the UST version solve the issue of flexible and porous sidewall? Now that it's got the Black Chili it seems like a good choice. I recall you were a fan of the trail king in previous posts.

sort of on topic, why does Maxxis call their tire the "Advantage?" What does it have an advantage over, a flat tire? I'm trying this tire on the rear, against the advice of others (robot) and am not seeing any advantages

The tire was named the ADvantage b/c Alison Dunlap helped design it (A.D.). What size are you running on the rear? What tire are you coming off of? What issues are you having with the ADvantage?

Advantage is good in dry, scary in wet, neither slow nor fast.
Trail king ust should have better sidewalls.
