Finally some one posts a build with a c-guide so i could figure out how it worked. It was hard to tell by just staring at the box it came in. KOF.

Yes. I have bars, saddles, maybe a seat post, maybe other stuff too.

Should be getting some cockpit and drivetrain bits in a few days and the actual bike in a few weeks…cannot wait.
Will be running my 2011 Norco Vixa. Easily the heaviest, worst speced bike I have bought in a while but parts keep changing and is easily the funnest bike I have redden in a while.
:england:
Hopefully someone buys me some parts for christmas… I'm broke and it's snowboarding season!
7" travel dh/pedaling thinger. Burke Destroyer
Clunking is for retards.
While a build thread is often about new bikes that have been pieced together, sometimes a new build is as simple as a reincarnation of a previously successful platform. I figured I would start a thread as I know I'm not the only one to be stoked on the fact that winter is back.
I recently converted my Chromag Monk from dirt jump to trail mode. Beefy tires, two brakes, a dropper post, and a longer stem. Two rides in and I'm already in love. The tires feel amazing and I'm riding the front wheel a lot more due to the new stem and brake. Bottom line, it shralps!
Do you have plans for a winter build?
I've always wanted to build up a ss winter shredder… What fork are you running on the monk?
monk is a fun trail bike, but i can't find a long enough seatpost for full extension, need a 475 or 500mm.
Yeah, it's still short for me by ~40mm, but I'm OK with that - it's not really a climbing-primary bike.
looking forward to running those spank 29er wheels with big sticky rubber on the hardtail.
Yes! They are super burls.

That is a Fox Float 140 with a short travel air cartridge (max 120mm), currently set to 100mm.
My Surface (photo courtesy of Morgan Taylor). Planning on switching it over to 1x10 as soon as I get a chance.'
Just finished single speeding the Honzo. 34x20 gearing; I've never ridden single speed so I'll see how it goes. Also took off the dropper post…the bike feels surprisingly light! Photos to come tomorrow.
Gonna participate. Have a bunch of used 26" stuff that needs to be put to good use at work ;)
