Pimp…as…all…get…out
What's the latest and greatest in not insanely overpriced flat pedals?
I bought some Azonic flats on a whim. They have outlasted a few bikes.

I like the look of those so I checked then out online.
Over $200 by the time I get my hands on them. I'm a guy who has had his share of $150+ pedals and just can't justify the cost anymore. I've been running the nukeproof electron plastic pedals for the last two seasons at whistler and love them. I went with the stolen plastic pedals for my son's bike. We'll see how those work with his low bb height.
My Chromag Scarab's seals pop out without much riding, and then they don't spin as well. My shop mechanic said it had to do with the platform being Chromag while the axles are DMR (or something?). I didn't fact check this statement.
Generally, the Scarab's feel great and have better grip than my Saint pedals. However, the Saints did take a lot more of a beating, without any problems.
I've had Blackspire Sub 4's on for a few years and they've been great. I think they're called sub-420's now.
has anyone tried the canfield crampons?

Yes. They were OK but found the axle system required constant maintenance as they seemed to develop play quickly. They are made by HT as I understand it.
How are the spank spike pedals. These caught my eye.
