Weird Pike problem

My Pike (2014 RCT3 DPA, last serviced in May, IIRC) gave up on me today. First it felt a little harsh, then it woldn't stay down. At the top of the last climb it was super hard, hardly budged. I tried letting air out, the pump only showed about 40psi (I usually ride it at about 75). After letting out all the air, it still wouldn't budge, so I pumped it back up to 40psi and decided to take a gravel road down the hill. At the bottom of the hill, while talking to someone (not riding), I suddenly heard a noise like an exploding tire. The seals on the left fok leg had blown off, the fork dived and stayed there. Anybody had this happening? Couldn't find anything on the web, but maybe my search terms were wrong. Anyway, to the shop it will go, let's see what they say, but any input would be welcome.

Sounds like air transfer from the cartridge to the lowers. Used to be fairly common (not with Pikes).

Thanks for the replies, I knew there was a thread somewhere. Should be an easy fix.
