"Waterproof" shorts

Looking to get some winter/waterproof shorts. What are you using and are you satisfied with the performance? Looking at Raceface agent, Endura mt500 or Bontrager evoke stormshell($$$) any others?

Like my Agent shorts. The thingies that are supposed to make the seams waterproof have a tendency to fall off, though, and after two (or is it three?) winters, the fabric on the back is wearing a little thin. But the most comfortale waterproof short I've worn so far. MUch better than my Gore Bike Wear, since the Agent shorts feel like "real" shorts. The Gore shorts feel like you're wearing a shopping bag. Superb waterproofing on the Gore shorts, I must say.

I have a pair of the Endura MT500. they work well, not fully waterproof, but the back is. keeps the spray down. the front has a good DWR treatment for keeping the wetness down. little velcro closures at the leg. i have nothing bad to say about them. they are not crazy sweaty. I guess if i can't say anything bad about them that makes them an OK short!  i've switched over to them on rainy rides now...

I have a pair of 7mesh gore tex knickers, Cam did a review of them last year or the year before.  They are amazing.

I have agents and like them as well. Nothing exotic about them but they're great. I removed the scratchy velcro waist tabs and use a belt like a normal human.

Altura Saggy Baggy 3/4 shorts are my go for the last 4 seasons . I just purchased a pair of the new RF pants for this up coming season. The shorts are killer , only real signs of wear , is the stitching in the knee area. From rubbing on the pads covered in muck.

The downside of any rain gear is you still get wet . Staying warm is key and stopping windchill .

Bahahaha! If I rode in that, I'm sure I'd need full protective gear from all the rocks being thrown at me! Just looking for shorts

I had the Agent shorts but they only lasted a few rides before the seam taping started to fall off and leak. I returned them and got the Endura MT500 shorts from LVB and really like them. As mentioned above, they aren't fully waterproof. They keep you warm and are very comfortable though. I think Endura makes a fully waterproof version too. I have their MT500 jacket and it is bomber.

have been wearing a pair of Royal shorts I found on Jensen three seasons ago. they do a fantastic job,and have kept me dry and comfy on some pretty sloppy days.but of course I never ride in the wet, don't want to mess up my e bike.

7mesh Revo short cost way too much but they are incredible. I ride Cumberland all winter. Huge puddles but can ride every day of the year! When I take the shorts off, I am bone dry underneath. Very high quality.

Recently picked up some Fox Attack Pro Water and they’re great so far. Proper bike shorts fit and very waterproof but haven’t had them long enough to test durability.

Gore waterproof shorts have the worst fit I’ve seen in any shorts, ever. No tailoring to them at all.

Well I've decided to try the Raceface Agents, if they fall apart I can always return them to MEC. 

I agree, the Gore waterproof shorts are hideous.

I just ordered a pair of Agent pants the other day, hoping they're as good as they sound!
