anybody have one in their parts bin they want to get rid of? 2x or 3x

We don't know what our limits are, so to start something with the idea of being limited actually ends up limiting us.

Is this a direct mount FD?  I know the 'old' e-types were the ones that had the ring around the BB, but the new e-type seem to be described as the two-bolt direct mount kind.  I dont have an SRAM, but do have a 10spd XT direct mount that was used on a Knolly Endorphin.  Any reason why it has to be SRAM?

You can run an XT FD with SRAM shifters.  The shift ratio only matters on the RD I believe.
