wanted - 1 inch road fork and stem

Hey everyone

I crashed on black ice my 80's cannondale road bike. I bent the fork and the stem and cannot seem to find a used one around. I like to get my bike back on the road but both Our Community Bikes and Bike Kitchen is closed until Jan 4 and 6. I tried Sports Junkies, Mightly Riders North Shore Swap etc. I prefer to buy used as I do not want to put a lot of money into this bike.

Currently I have a 1 inch threaded system. I am looking for a threaded or threadless front end as I need a fork, headset and stem. I really prefer a fork that has braze on for fenders. The bike is small so the steerer does not need to be very long. Can anyone help?

Head to the dump? Lotsa old bikes there to rape an old fork off of…

Unfortunately I have nothing to send to the dump and from what I know they highly discourage salvaging there but if you happen to go….

I have a fork you can have for $10. Come by North Shore Bike Shop. No stem unfortunately.

Unfortunately no it's a bladed carbon fork. You'll need to get some speed-ez fenders. Got those too… lol…

Tons of them sitting in back alleys in Van.

Don't forget, if you are threaded now and going over to threadless, you will need a 1" aheadset as well. That could be hard to find. Or easy, who knows.

If you can make the trek out to Mission, drop by Wentings - they have boxes full of old stuff - like one of those rubbermade blue bins full of old stems for $5 each - and a box of old forks - any size/material/rigid/suspended combo you can think of.

I sorted myself out with the fork as Matt from North Shore Bikes sold me a frame and fork for dirt cheap. Awesome guy!!

Unfortunately many of my parts from my old commuter do not transfer over. If anyone has some road parts lying around, let me know. I am looking for a front derailleur, rear derailleur if cheap enough, front and rear caliper style brakes, and old school friction thumb shifters.
