Hey!

It's a bit more money than I expected to spend on a new bike, but I want it after riding it around and comparing it to bikes that are slightly cheaper but arent as dope. Its the one that comes with the single crown Totem coil. , can anyone give me any feedback on how it is? I'm a 5'9" and 170 lbs, is a Medium a good size? I tried a small and its definately too small but theres no large for me to compare it with. I'm not a racer but I like that style of riding , I'm not a big hucker or big DORP rider as such.

hmmm im like maybe 6'1" and i roll with a small vp free. It doesn't feel cramped really just flickable, it kinda feels more like a slopestyle bike than a dh bike i guess.

i googled majin super gay and this thread came up

vppfree's are no longer being manufactured so you might not have much of choice and your stuck buying whatever the shop has.
wait for the new 08 vppfree(if thats what they're gonna call it) and get the improved design where the current one lacked.

btw, i'm 6'1 and owned a medium. i prefer riding a larger frame and i still thought the bike was on the "larger" size.
beware of the bb height, i really hated it.

I guess its all up to the rider… I mean I'm 6'1" too and I ride a large VP free and it feels perfect… I think a medium would be a right fit for you

and the shop would know how? since the bike has never been seen that would have no clue. Basically if you are going to get one try and make it fast because they are hard to get.

Did you throw a leg over a Demo 7?

I'm 5'9 and ride a medium….it is a most excellent, do everything bike. I've never felt mine was too big at all (but I also ride uphill on it all the time and a small would just simply feel like crap doing this). I have never felt that going with the medium sacrificed anything in the rideability department and the bike still feels incredible in the air. The bottom bracket height is always going to be a bit of an issue on vpp bikes due to the huge sag in this type of suspension. Yup, this took an adjustment after peeling pins from my flats for a little while. Now I just give a little thought to where my peddles are.

Ya. The next VPFree has never been seen and I don't think there are even any prototypes yet. Any shop claiming it won't be much different than the current model probably has extra stock he wants to get rid of.

I'm about 6'3" and I've spent a season on a medium and a season and a bit on a large. The medium was alright but I had to run a bit longer stem (75mm). The large fits me pretty well.

I'm about 5'10" and I ride a medium. It's perfect. The small would be too cramped. I use it for my do anything bike. I love it.
