Two seemingly unrelated questions

Question 1: I've got a fox 36 with 44mm rake. I was going to put it on my chromag primer, anyone have any advice on this rake on that frame?

Question 2: does purple go with brown? (The wheels that fit this fork have hope purple hubs)

I'll post some pics if the frame/hub when I can get a good shot in daylight.

#2   Right away that made me think of peanut butter and jelly, so they must go together. It’s your bike and you’re the only one it needs please.

That fork will be fine on the Primer.

Purple and brown can be sweet, but you need to make it look intentional not accidental. So purple grips and pedals?

Thanks for the replies. I have some matching purple bar end plugs and seatpost collar. Still can't decede if I like it. Maybe i just haven't committed enough to it. My wife hates it. Thoughts?

My wife pretty much hates anything I do with my bikes, especially when I spend money on them.

Toss in a purple headset and that will look planned.

Looks good though as is.

I think it looks fine. Maybe purple grips and purple socks? That would look Prime! You do need to commit more!

I like it fine. Purple grips. Could always powder coat the frame down the road if still not happy about brown? My local powder coater quoted me $150 for 2 BMX frames.

The purple hub is a classic. As such it goes with everything.

Ok, this simple docturn convinced me. Hub swap is underway. Purple is taking over my primer. Who knows, a blue large metallic flake paint job may be in the future for the primer.

I like the Primer's powder coat. Just needs some purple bling to come alive.
