Hi Guys. I have a JrT2 and I am replacing the arch with a new one. But… The old arch does not want to come off. Is it lock tight? I don't know because I am puting alot of muscle into taking the screw out. The fork is new so it wouldn't be dirt or anything of the sort. Any suggestions. Thanks

probably loctite. i dont think you can damage it by trying too hard to unscrew it.

ya dude its probably loc-tited, i dunno if this would work or maybe even weaken the arch, but maybe try heating it up with a heat gun or blow dryer?:???:

I will give it a shot but I don't know if Loc tite will soften with heat? But there is a point when the loc-tite gives, doesn't it?? or am I just an naive(sp)?

I want to but unfortunatley I am limited only to the short keys. I may have to get my local shop to take care of it for me.

to get more leverage, try to find a metal tube that will allow the allen key to fit it

that should do the job
