Travel adjust forks

I tried travel adjust back in the day. Aside from a harsh ride quality and the fact that I don't ride roads up very much, I also didn't like the fact that they drop your saddle to bar height so much. On sustained steep roads it was fine but on less steep or undulating rides up the flat sections the position had you perched forwards with a lot of weight on your hands.

Yeah, I hear that but honestly I've never left the climb switch on personally and I use it for every climb. Get off, stretch, pass a beer around, make sure bikes adjusted for downhill.

Travel adjust fork makes for a pretty drastic change in geo, with the front end so low and all it's actually pretty damn hard not to notice.

Then again I once rode with a guy who "forgot" to drop his post..Depends on how many beers get passed around maybe.

I have a RS Lyric 180/160 on my Devinci Spartan, very happy with the fork. Set it at 160 most of the time and 180 on steep stuff.

I use a pike 110/140 on one of my hardtails and love it. 110 up, 140 down. No problems with a low BB on the ups .
